The Town Of Tabor City Is Accepting Applications For The Position Of Town Manager. An Employee In This Position Serves As Chief Administrator Of Tabor City’s Municipal Government Per NCGS § 160A-148; Oversees The Day-to-day Operations Of Municipal Government; Provides General Supervision And Administrative Direction To All Municipal Departments And Officers; Provides Frequent And Detailed Reports And Updates To The Mayor And Town Council; Develops A Clear Strategic Vision And Plan In Collaboration With Elected Body Under Administrative Direction Of The Mayor And Town Council. An Employee In This Position Is Expected To Possess A Bachelor’s Degree In Public Administration Or A Related Field. A Master Of Public Administration Or Other Graduate Degree Is Strongly Preferred. Minimum Three Years Of Experience With Executive Responsibility. Will Accept An Equivalent Combination Of Education And Experience.
